I love the toning on the first pic!

 

And, by golly, that there is a gen-U-ine '16 D! Should grade XF by today's standards. foreheadslap.gif

 

I'll be able to see the toning on my Merc and Walker set in another 10 days. Very curious to see what/if the Wayte Raymond album did for them.

Love the full bands on the 1916

 

why is the 1916-D so rare 264,000 coins is still quite a lot of coins, i have just sold a 1908 cypress coin with a mintage of 25,000 and it was only worth £199.99 ?

 

its a funny old world this coin world !

The fact that it was from Cyprus probably had something to do with it. Not knocking on Cyprus (my space systems prof. is from Cyprus). I'm just saying, not much demand.
