PVC removal of NCG slabbed coin

I understand that NGC will remove PVC from a coin that is in a NGC holder. How does one go about getting more info on this and get the ball rolling? Here is a pic of the coin in question. It is current holdered as NGC AU58.

Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS) does perform the type of work you are requesting. When we look to conserve a coin that has already been certified by NGC, the coin will first be evaluated. Part of the evaluation is to determine what kind of work is to be performed by NCS technitians and part of the evaluation is to see that work would be a benefit to the coin and to be sure that at least the currently stated grade would be maintained through the process. Your coin can be regraded by NGC following the conservation work.
