Capped Bust Half Dimes - LM varieties

I have come across two capped bust dimes, 1831 and 1834 with a LM-2 and LM-6 variety posted on the NCS encapsulation label. Does anyone know what these designations mean?

These are the Logan-McCloskey numbers which are assigned to designate the different varietes. For the 1831 coin, LM-2 is listed as one of the scarce varieties. For the 1834, LM-6 you got me on that one. I can not find that Variety listed for that year, only LM-1, 2, 4 in common, and 3 and 5 for scarce.

 

The Degree of variety goes from Common, Scarce, Rare and Very Rare.

Here is a picture of the LM-2 variety... I put both on EBAY and got some quick bids...

Please do, I am still looking for reference to LM-6 for the 1834 and find none.

The 1831 is the LM-6 and 1834 is the LM-2. I successfully added some scans. Hopefully you can see them.

Ok, that makes more sense, both of those would be "common varieties" for those years.
