1999 - 2003 Silver/Clad Proof Sets Needs to be Split

4 posts in this topic

The 1999-2003 Silver and Clad Proof sets needs to be split in the same manner as the 1976 Silver/Clad proof sets to avoid duplication. In the current format the Lincoln, Jefferson and the Sacagawea are being double counted. These coins can be displayed in the clad sets and the silver sets would start with the SHQ's. This would provide a fairer representation of these sets. 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

What about joining the sets like PCGS does? Instead of 2 seperate sets, just have 1 larger set including clad and silver. I would think this would also be better for the 1976 sets as well. I think it's kinda of silly that there's two proof sets in the NGC Registry that only contains 3 coins.

That's a perfect solution. Have both Silver/Clad in one Proof Set, plus it will cut down # of sets and still be fair to collector's. A winning Idea!!!! 893applaud-thumb.gif
