When will the mint release US buffalo fractionals?

Does anyone know what time of this year the mint will release US gold buffalo fractionals?

Coin World reports the mint is may not make them.

 

"Mint may not produce .9999 gold fractionals"

 

"United States Mint officials now are unsure whether the Mint will strike fractional, collector versions of the 2007 American Buffalo .9999 fine gold coin for two programs they announced late in 2006.

The Mint has not gained the approval of Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. to proceed with production of Proof 2007-W American Buffalo half-, quarter-and tenth-ounce gold coins or Uncirculated coins in all four sizes."

The mint schedule shows April or May for the American Buffalo 24-Karat Gold Proof Coin. Nothing on the fractionals.

hate to say it but there may not be any fractionals issued by the mint, according to the latest CW. the mint has not gained support from the treasury secretary to proceed with the production of 2007-W proof buffalo half,quarter-and tenth-ounce gold coins or uncirculated coins in all four sizes.
