I just picked up this one yesterday on eBay:

Interesting 1864 Variety

 

I've been collecting for many years and had, up to the point of the auction, never heard of this variety.

 

Anyone have additional information on it?

Looks kind of cool (and, a slight... ever so slight chance for an upgrade...) coin.

Nope, never heard of that before...you need to post this on the US Coin board for more exposure and a possible answer.

 

If they get it ATS would you reply here?
