Help! Identifying this coin

4 posts in this topic

The obverse features a bearded man facing right with the inscription "Petrus II D.C.G. Imp Et Perp.Bras.DEF 1869

The reverse has a crown over a shield flanked by 20 on one side and Rs on the other.

The edge is smooth and the coin is copper. Any idea where it is from? Any other information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you dooly and satootoko! Yes, this coin has a C.L. below the bust. This coin belongs to a friend and he asked me to help him identify it. Unfortunately it has some active PVC damage. Once this is stopped it will net grade a VF20.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. I'm in the process of acquiring a new camera and will be glad when it arrives.
