NGC COIN VALUES

4 posts in this topic

Just a question for all you coin people out their. The PCGS has a system where you can punch in the number that is displayed inside the encapsulated coin on the grading label and will tell you the value of the coin. Does NGC do the same. If sho how do I do that?

Numismedia is the official price guide of NGC. Numismedia values for coins can be found on the NGC online population report.

To find Numismedia values for coins, select ‘Census’ from the menu at www.ngccoin.com. When you find the coin in the population report for which you would like to see values, click the date for the coin and a new window will pop up with population figures for that coin and Numismedia provided values where available. We display values through MS 60 as a free service.

To access values for the full range of grades you must have a paid membership in NGC’s Collectors Society.

Additionally, paid members of the Collectors Society can access Numismedia values by using the cert verification tool after logging in at www.collectors-society.com. Finally, paid members will see the full range of Numismedia values for coins in their Registry set listings.

Dena,

I joined so that I could see the prices, but most Silver Eagle coins denote "No Price". Seems a bit hard to belive that there is no price for the 20th aniv coins.

We display 'No Price' for a coin if Numismedia does not yet provide a value for that coin. However, Numismedia provides regular updates and a value may be displayed in the future.
