I think I was just getting ready to post a simmilar question, but I don't want to create a whole new thread if this is being covered...

Mine was going to be:

When looking at the points chart for a given coin...

It typically shows three versions of a coin

ex: 1950s Jefferson Nickel (I'm working on a Proof Set)

Coin

Desc Pr Ag G VG F VF XF AU 60 61 62 63 63* 64 64* 65 65* 66 66* 67 67* 68 68* 69 69* 70

1950 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 9 12 16 20 20 28 37 45 201 244 502 593 2124

1950 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 272 330 502 593 754 875 982 1130 1886 2124 3386 3752 8727

What are the three different 1950s? Is that P, D and S (in that order) or what???

Thanks for the help and the all the work...

Sorry, but it's the same problem with non-proof (MS) nickels too, though. Just take a look at the 2006 P&D monticellos; 6 different scores for each coin. Or how about the 2005-D Ocean View Nickel, with 2 scores for SMS & 2 for non-sms. Both non-sms scores are higher than SMS for grades 67 & above, but not so for grades 66 & below. Try to figure these out without good DESCRIPTIONS.
