Quick Newbie Question

5 posts in this topic

Don't know squat about Walkers and just inhereted a few dozen. Was hoping someone would be able to tell me where the double die is located on the 1946P, and what kind of premium (if any) can be expected in typical EF or choice VF.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the imput EZ. I was actually curious as to how much the premium is on the 1946 DDR in VF/EF. PCGS lists the non-doulble die at $5 and the DD at $65 in EF. Didn't know if this $60 premium is accurate (pcgs listed prices are definitely not market prices). Not much info out there on this coin.

If CU is placing a price of $65 on an EF specimen, then the price you might reasonably realize is around $30. Perhaps this would translate to a bit less for a VF specimen. The only way you'll find out is to sell it, say in auction on eBay. Coins such as this tend to have fickle prices realized.
