Attribution Confirmation Requested: 1827 Capped Bust dime (49 Kb)

I'm thinking JR-13. Grade it too, if you want. It's only a quick image, a little difficult to take because the coin has a somewhat prooflike obverse. For a variety of reasons, the 1827 is my favorite date for dimes. It's right between the run of scarcer dates through 1825, yet is somewhat tougher than the more common dates from 1829 on.

Sorry, your coin appears to be the JR-13.

 

I can't really tell the difference between AU and MS with pictures, so I will conservatively grade it AU58+...

I agree with JR-13, though I originally typed "JR-3".

 

I think the JR-13 is more common than the R.3 rating currently assigned. What do you think?

I do not know, I just started collecting CBDs.

 

After taking another look, I was half asleep on my first post, I see what looks to be wear on the drapery and the talons. I still think it could be AU...
