lots of eliasberg coins were fugly and ugly toned

 

and many many MANY makepoint.gif have been dipped/improved/conserved AND are completely different looking

Most auction firms will negotiate seller's commission, to obtain very desireable or high value collections or coins. Even if the seller's fees are zero---15 % of several hundred thousand dollars is very handsome, indeed. In some situations, I could envision the Seller sharing a piece of the Buyer's fee, also. Moral of story----If you don't ask you don't get !
