Maybe the dark toning on the high points give the appearnace of rub. Whats up with the 8? Looks like he didn't quite get his fair share of strike.

I know nothing about half dimes. this is my only one, bought years ago when i was casually putting together a type set. I was told it is an early die state LM10/V7, R1. I also don't pretend to know how to grade it. I think I'm happy with 58...

As a geeky nerdy mad scientist as heart, I sometimes tend to overdo the technology and blow up the photos to where you can see every zit and pore on her nose...I assume that's what you're saying politely. Yes, in hand the toning looks pretty good. --Jerry
