No Date Washington Dollar

My smooth edge washington dollars should arrive tomorrow.

Boy was I surprised to find out they will not have a place in the registry

It sure seems like this coin belongs up there with the 1922 no d

2007 no d or 2007 no p. Maybe the Washington Dollar No P or D

I know I can buy a First Strike, how much does it cost to buy a spot in the registry?

I hope this gets straightened out soon

There is a spot right next to my 1944 D/S and 1864/186 L and 1955/1955 cents for this dollar error/variety

Generally, errors are not included in the registry. Varieties are. The 1944 D/S is a die variety, the no date dollar is an error. I would not expect NGC to ever list this in the registry.

There's enough of these things on the Bay right now to indicate a variety, not an error.

 

Personally, I have one and it's going in my Washington Dollar Multi-Coin slab* regardless of if it's in the Registry or not.
