1894 ZSFZ 8 Reales With PVC Damage

Just found out that NGC has identified this coin as definitely having PVC damage. MS with PVC. Is it worth having it looked at by Conservation or leave as is.

You could probably remove the green haze on your own, with judicious use of acetone and distilled/deionized water. An acetone rinse would also stop further corrosion, but once PVC has corroded the coin, there isn't much that can be done to restore the surface. frown.gif
