NEWPs, 1795 lettered edge cents, S-74 and S-75

I just won two cents on Heritage. I was really only planning to buy this one.

 

But I realized that if the price stayed below $1k, which it did, I'd have to pay about $70 in sales tax so I picked out this one to get above $1k. It's not the nicest example but not the worst either. Now I have half the varieties of 95 lettered edges.

Thanks HOOT. I won't be cracking them out and playing with them until I get a little more schooling. I've got a crusty 1798 soaking in olive oil right now that I'll start with. I need to reread your recent threads, buy some brushes, and start with some junkers....

Thanks....a reeded edge would be nice but Doug Bird had a 93 leberty cap that I'd probably buy first if I had that kind of money...

Very nice coins, both of them. The first one is really nice for a net graded coin.
