regarding this spot......

Whether this (surface, not eating into the metal) spot can be removed or minimized, will the process make the bust area look out of place compared to the rest of the naturally toned coin? (i.e. the bust area being sniny/brighter or discolored after toning removal)

In order to give as specific an evaluation as you are asking for, the coin would certainly have to be seen in the office. Given previous experience with spots that appear similar on coins of similar vintage, the toning is deep in the coin. This will affect how likely we may be able to keep the color and remove the spot. Your coin would need to be evaluated in person.
