Grading question on 1882 CC Double Eagle

I am surprised it got slabbed because of the cleaning! rather obvious on the first obverse picture and maybe thats why it graded au55 and not au58? I would never crack it because it might be hard to get in a holder again. CC gold is nice! mike

Well, in the spirit of nice looking AU gold, here is my 1913-D Saint, it's an AU coin, and it has a rub on the high points, so I can't argue with the technical grade, but it's a very pretty coin that will likely stay in my collection (even though I've had several opportunities to upgrade it).
