20th Anniversary Eagles Designation

2 posts in this topic

Hi. I know to get the 20th anniversary 2006 eagles silver they need to be in the original mint box unopened. My question is, i have a box of unopened sets i want to hold them for a while. Will this special designation to the coins have a expiration date? Like in 6 months if i send them to get graded will they still get DESIGNATED 20th anniversary??? of course they will be in the mint sealed box.

Thank You,

Anderson

Hi Anderson:

As long as your coins remain sealed in the US Mint's shipping box they will be eligible for designation by NGC. In all cases, we must receive the box and verify the integrity of the packaging to designation them as Eagle 20th Anniversary coins. So, your unopened box will be able to receive the designation.
