Question about submiting GSA Dollars via NGC

2 posts in this topic

I have a few questions for you:

1. I have a GSA dollar that I would like to submit to NCS for conservation because it has a filmy haze over otherwise very nice prooflike fields - Can I submit the coin in the GSA holder and then have NCS submit the coin?

2. Does NGC recognize GSA dollars on their slabs?

3. This is a VAM6 1880CC dollar, as such, will that also be noted on the slab?

4. What paperwork do I need to submit? - One for NCS and one for NGC? or does the NCS submission take care of the whole deal?

Thanks!

Frank,

1) Ask NCS. Call 800 NCS COIN.

2) If NGC removes the coin from the GSA holder and the submitter requests it we will put X-GSA on the label.

3) If you request and pay for VarietyPlus service

4) NCS and NGC are seperate companies. NCS can submit to NGC after conservation if requested.

Hope this helps. BTW, customer service is here to help you and others on issues like this, feel free to call them any time at 800 642 2646.
