My first NCS Consideration...photo attached (I hope)

Having never done this before, I think I may have gone the wrong route in submitting this coin directly to NGC. It was previously graded AU50 by ANACS, and graded an EF40 by NGC. The coin is still very precious to me, and from what I've read in these boards, this may be a candidate from NCS' services. Obviously I know you can't commit, but I was wondering if you could offer an opinion.

The coin may have some potention to up-grade with some help from NCS, obviously no guarantees in the world.

Out of curiosity, how does it work with minimums within grading tiers going from NCS to NGC on things like this, or if others are submitted for that matter?

Will try to inclue the photo with this post, but posting here is new to me as well, so wish me luck!

Will welcome NCS experts, directly, or here on the boards. takeit.gif

It is difficult to determine conservation possibilities on this coin. Given its overall dark color, likely we would remove residues and possibly lightened the coin. Unfortunately, I would not be able to comment on the possible grading at all.
