I believe you handled it fairly. For what ever it's worth, in business and personal dealings, some of my best vendors are those that I encountered a problem and they fixed it.

 

I always say, the difference between a good supplier and a great supplier is how the problems are handled. Anyone can sell in an envorinment where there are no problems. Eventually problems arise. That is where the cream rises to the top.
