Georg von Ansbach and Albrecht (Alcibiades) von Bayreuth on the obverse. Flower cross with coats of arms in the center on the reverse.

 

I don't know much more about this coin. I've seen the design a few times before, so it's not too rare, but not common either. Nice reverse color which is somewhat unusual for 16th century talers. NGC graded MS62.

Not sure. I don't have the coin in hand yet so it's hard to say. From the picture the toning looks like cabinet toning.

 

However, the coin is 467 years old, so I'd guess it's been cleaned at some time in the past, but probably not too recently.

Another nice piece. The obverse is somewhat comical with the large bellies of the men nearly touching - battle of the bulge. tongue.gif
