Some people still believe this to be an O/CC. To me, it doesn't look like an "O" that has been retooled/repunched. The remnants of the mark seem to be wavy (as is mentioned in the VAM Book.) It looks more like the serifs of the left-hand "C".

I've got one of these, it's one of my very favorite Morgans. I haven't got a recent (good) picture of it though.
