Ming dynasty picture coin

I purchased the "coin" in the attached file today for about $35. On the label was written "Ming Dynasty 'picture coin'", but I'm pretty unfmiliar with Chinese coinage. I'd like to start learning more of early Chinese coinage and similar artifacts as well, so I'd look forward to hearing from anyone who has an itnerest.
