Your ANACS grades ?

I'm curious. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

27_laughing.gif, ZAR. But yes, of course smile.gifacclaim.gif

My first submission, ever. I was nervous about one of the Talers being genuine and wasn't sure if ANACS would encapsulate an Isabella II proclation medal (i still think it's a 2 real proclamation coin).

Well, they didn't encapsulate my Isabella, but the rest of the grades are as follows:

1772 Thaler - Baden, German State - EF45

1767 Thaler - Poland under Saxony - EF45

1628 Thaler - Wulfenbuttel (Wild Man series) - VF35

1908 Trade $1 - GB (B-mintmark) - MS62

The 1628 Wild Man is the one I used in your "Post a picture holding up Hello ZAR" giveaway.

I also found the taler pictures, digging through my old camera archives:

1772 Baden:

1767 Poland:

That Baden piece has a really nice pewter toning that my old camera was just not able to capture. I'll take better pictures once I have the coins forwarded to me from my dealer in U.S.

I'm almost done moving into my new appartment, so only had time to shoot a few pieces. I traded the Trade Dollar for some Cap and Rays, so no pictures of that one. Here are the XF 45 Thalers:

I love the high relief and the toning on the Baden piece.
