Did everyone has a pleasant 4th of July?

For me, the relatives got together. We visited, ate and watched the children play and seen some fireworks. Doesn't everyone do that? So how is this coin related? I thought that I needed to find a coin for the holiday and I think I did OK. I saw this on ebay and the strike is what sold me. The 1952 is one of the tougher dates to locate with a strong strike and full steps and from the picture, this coin appears to be OK. auction

Did anyone else have any luck over the holiday?

Congrats on your new acquisition... I spent some today going over the new ANR catalog, and will check out the upcoming Heritage offerings as well.

 

I spent yesterday at a friend's place in a highrise building overlooking the East River. He has a great view of the annual Macy's fireworks show.
