Ancient Coin Conservation

While ancient coins are not eligible for encapsulation with NCS just as they are not with NGC, they are eligible for conservation. We could conserve your ancient coin. We would not be able to encapsulate your coin.

Ancient coins usually do not fit into most commercially available coin holders. If you do use a coin flip, be sure that is a non-PVC or hard type flip. Paper envelopes have been popular with ancient collectors as well. Be sure that any envelopes you use are free of sulfur and acid as both chemicals can damage your coins in long-term storage.
