Prutah's of Alexander Jannaeus, popular and commonly known as a "widow's mite". If so, just authenticate it, or grade, and how would the label read? If you submit in bulk, can you request specifics on the label?

We do offer limited certification services for Ancient coins. Prutahs and other small ancient bronzes are eligible for submission only for genuine grading and exclusively in bulk.

 

We have standard label formats, although we will pedigree widow's mites to correspond with catalogue information from Ken Bressett's recent book at the submitter's request.

Will NCS do their handywork on ancients as well, only in bulk, not at all?

Yes, NCS conserves ancient coins. Regular NCS fees and turnaround time apply.

 

In fact, NCS can conserve a variety of metal objects including badges, belt buckles, and cigarette lighters.
