Care To Guess The Grade; 44-D Jeff

I guess 65-66FS but I find the check and jaw quite distracting. That V behind the head, is that a hairline or something.

 

I like the coin mostly due to the very even toning. Nice and attractive.

Appreciate everyones comments on this one. The coin has amazing lustre. This is how the graders at PCGS felt about this coin, on this day.

MS66fs. The weakness from step 3 to 4 under pillar 3 may have caused a grader to keep it from the FS attribution. If the luster is booming, they could have bumped it to a 67.

The coin appears to have outstanding luster and positive eye appeal. Also, I do not believe that what folks are calling chatter is actually that; it is more likely to be the result of incomplete metal flow from the coin not being struck fully.
