finally went through a box that I bought at an auction a few days ago for $3

 

1797 haf cent g-vg

1803 half cent g-vg

1863 token

a couple of mid-late 1800 foreign coins

several Indian heads (commons)

 

just bid on it because it was full of wheaties (nothing special found there)

 

just shows that you never know what to expect

These kinds of surprises are always the best! More like an unexpected gift than a hunt for something unusual or something that you desire.
