Policy on Error Coins in the Registry

I just wanted to clarify the policy on Error coins in the Registry.

 

At this time, Error coins are not eligible for the Registry. They are a completely different category of coins and sometimes have very different values from non error coins.

 

There were some cases in the past where we accepted error coins for competition simply because they slipped by our data entry team. Even in those cases, coins were not entered with their error detail by Registry data entry personnel.

 

Moving forward we will be more diligent about enforcing this policy.

 

If you have an error coin in your set now and intend to sell it, please do not represent it as a Registry coin because the buyer will likely try to add the coin to the Registry and he/she will be denied.
