2006 Differs from the 2005 and back ASE - MS Grades ???

2006 American Silver Eagle MS Coin ..

Was there something I missed or IS the 2006 a Matte finish coin

I am looking to sell of a Complete set of MS69 NGC ASE Coins and were going through them to lok for milkies and splotches and noticed the 2006 is MUCH Different than the rest ... Or is Mine One in a few hundred thousand.

IT is a MATTE finish Coin ... Is this part of the SATIN FINISH debaucle

I am fairly sure the mint decided in 2005 to make the silver eagles satin finish. If you are noticing a difference between your 2005 and 2006, it is likely because the satin finish is so inconsistently applied to the dies (some are more satiny than others). I have also noticed that the satin finish is heavier this year in general.
