Popular Fake

3 posts in this topic

Here is a fake that I bought first thinking it was just lower grade. Then read the "details". When it arrived, I could not distinguish it from real thing until I weighed it. (23.8 vs 27.2 gr). It is not marked "replica" as many are so that is why I call it a fake. If someone wants a high resolution photo, I will send it or post elsewhere. Even though the listing said replica down near the end of long text, I think it is very miss leading. For newer folks, beware.

I mentioned in a couple other posts but, finally took photo.

Popular Fake is an understatement. The trade dollar can fool the experts. Better off getting a certified example. And the fakes are usually roughed up anyway.
