I have a bust half that had a pin attached on the back at one point. The pin was broken off but the contact points where the pin was soldered remains. Is there any way NCS can remove the remainder of the pin?

Removal of solder is not work NCS will perform. Removal of the metal would result in further damage to the coin.

hello!

A question related to this, will you still encapsulate it with a details grade? I know that a jewelry damaged coin is not gradable by NGC.

As long as the coin is genuine and any attached mounting of solder does not prevent the piece from fitting into an NCS holder, we can encapsulate such a coin with a details grade.
