Somewhere on the NGC site there is a list of "titles" that you will show as your post count gets higher. This is a default title list. However, some folks have custom titles that they have essentially "earned" by either requesting the title, or writing something that has struck a chord. My title is a custom title that Arch gave to me based upon one of my posts.
