Can NCS help this Russian proof rouble?

Without actually seeing the coin, there is a limit to the amount of evaluation information I may be able to give for your coin. We can likely remove the green from the corrosion spot on the reverse though the surfaces underneath the spot have likely been damaged. We have seen coins with white residues stuck in the devices and denticles similar to how the residues appear on your coin before. We have had success in removing those residues in the past.

I don't think this is a Russian Ruble. The inscription is in German and very loosely translated as "God save and protect out mine."

 

I have a small collection of Bavarian and Russian coins, pre-WWI. I love European history.

 

Why was Austria left out of the KM Coins of Western Europe and Russia?
