Private Collector Privy = "No Grade"

Can I assume a Private Collector's Privy mark on a gold coin from the 1300s will automatically get a coin body bagged.

Assuming your coin would be an eligible type, I would suggest submitting it for NCS encapsulation. Your coin will be authenticated. If the privy mark would cause the piece to be no graded by NGC as we suspect it will, it can be placed into an NCS Details Grade or Genuine holder. If the mark would not cause the coin to be no graded, NCS will transfer the coin to NGC for regular certification.
