submission of a coin housed in another holder

Dear "NGC,"

I have a common-date Morgan Dollar graded 64 by another service. It has incredible original bag toning (in the words of Adrian Crane of Anaconda Rare Coins) on BOTH sides. I have never resubmitted a coin for grading, but I have heard that NGC often reflects the beauty of a coin in its grading (moreso than another well-known service). I also purchased a uniquely-toned NGC 62 common-date Saint, thus I would like to display both coins in NGC holders.

I do not wish to risk damage to the coin but will "crack it out" if necessary. Will NGC be influenced by the grade assigned or will it be independent?

I look forward to your response and apologize if inappropriate.

Sincerely,

"enriched"
