Quality Control - Why is it taking so long?

Please help me understand why my submission has been sitting in "Quality Control" for a week.

NGC's Quality Control

 

Most often coins will remain in quality control for as few as one or two days. Since all of our tiers are time sensitive, occasionally we will adjust priorities and push the grading of one tier ahead of quality control of another. In that way we stay as close as possible to our turnaround time objectives.

If your submission's turnaround time still falls within this posted timeframe, there should be no cause for alarm if it "sits" in quality control for a couple of days.

My submission was in Q.C. for only one day!

Thanks for replying. I also noticed the enhancement to the Order Status page to include further explanations on the process. Good to see.
