Off center toned Lincoln cent

It appears to be angled slightly away from you toward the west-southwest which affects the perspective. The part closer to you appears a little larger and the rim area has disappeared. It's just an illusion. Have you ever looked down a highway that is completely flat and straight as an arrow (common in the Southwest U.S.)? As you approach "infinity", the sides of the road appear to merge into a single point. You know that can't be, because you wouldn't be able to pass slower traffic. bumpit.gif
