Off center toned Lincoln cent

Is it me or does at first the toning make the coin look off center?

It appears to be angled slightly away from you toward the west-southwest which affects the perspective. The part closer to you appears a little larger and the rim area has disappeared. It's just an illusion. Have you ever looked down a highway that is completely flat and straight as an arrow (common in the Southwest U.S.)? As you approach "infinity", the sides of the road appear to merge into a single point. You know that can't be, because you wouldn't be able to pass slower traffic.

I like it and yes the toning pattern makes it look off center
