Picked up these two recently. Due to great deals in the market, I want to have one each of the $1, $2.5, $3, $5, $10 and $20 pre 1933 golds.

Hey, that's a really clever way to obscure the certification number. Cool.

I did that to the original by mistake and I'm stuck with it on the registry.

Nice p/u's jason, lee, devon and kb... hey physics i almost bid on that 57 thinking you wouldn't being it had prongs on it. :baiting:

Honestly, I almost didn't bid on it for just that reason. But then I had to balance that with my need for a 57, and when I saw it get to the last minute at that price, I had to. I hate the prongs, and I hate that I was forced to buy one. I'll have to see how the coin looks when I get it, and if it isn't everything I expect maybe I'll sell it to you ;)

DO you agree with the FBL Jason? A little mushy to the left of the bell crack

Just received this one today!

Yes, I do agree with the FBL on this one. The picture does not show the full extent of the bell lines due to my poor skill. The 1957 generally comes rather weakly struck, but this one has full bell lines even if they aren't as bold as some other dates.

Oh, and that one you just got is killer!

Here is an 1836/1336 O-108 CBH. A little beat up, but in an ANACS XF 45 holder
