Be careful buying these type slabs Alan. I think this was a slap together grading company in the 80's that usually over-graded coins or were problematic.

Thanks Bobby

I knew this but I bought the coin not the holder.

The coin has not been cleaned or dipped and it is

a very nice coin. Is the grade correctly no way...

But when I bought it when silver was about $20.00

an ounce so I got it at a very good price.

Thanks again Bobby

Alan

Bobby, you're think of INS which which admitted that its standards were a point or so off from NGC/PCGS. INGS appears to be a modern self slabbing operation.

Regardless, congratulations on the nice coin Alan.

You may be right coinman, wasn't real sure. I just don't trust many of these off the wall so-called slabs. Anyway, glad you got it when silver was low Alan. I'm sure there are alot of self slabbers trying to reel in people with the price of silver today.

This was a GREAT find and for under $5.00 with 60 coins

they look to be pretty good and the seller assured me, they are good coins.

And I can transfer them to my new Dansco( If I ever get around to getting it) lol

Newest for today, purchased for $80 combined. Now tonight, I get to spend a couple hundred to move 700+ miles away. :)

These pictures are not that great as I have everything packed away in the back of the truck right now, so I had to use a family members camera.

Well I usually use my own pics but I just bought this 56' Prf Set on ebay. The seller was describing haze on the coins which I do see on the roosie. But the Washie & Frankie look to maybe have some decent toning. Anyway, this will still build my collection of proof sets that I have 1956 to date now.

Very nice coins everyone. Thank you for the wishes of a safe trip. I will definately make a post once I arrive. I know of two coin shops that are near where I will be living plus I'll be able to visit the Blue Mountian Numismatic Society since thats not far from where I will be staying. So that will be a bonus as I can list when they will be having shows and could possibly keep an eye out for things you all may be looking for.
