Schatzy
Well I thought I would share my 5 coins that I was able to get in Jan. I want to make a picture for each month so I can look back in time and see what I got. I picked up a 1979-S PCGS PR70DC Type-2, 1981-S NGC PF70UC Type-2, 1983-S NGC PF70UC and my <3 fiancé bought me 1992-S NGC Silver PF70UC and a 1997-S NGC Silver PF70UC for my birthday. She also likes to collect coins and she knows how to look in my sets and see what I am missing.

Bugmann1974
Here are some of my latest pickups. I picked up this lightly toned '62 proof set. The silver coins have lavender and blue rim toning and the nickle is dark lavender with ice blue bust and Monticello. One of these days I will figure out how to get good pictures of toning on proofs... I also picked up these Commems, 1925 Lexington 1926S Oregon Trail I also picked up a 1979 proof set, Ucam obverse on the Quarter, too bad the reverse doesn't quite match. MunkyMan95
I also picked up a 1979 proof set, Ucam obverse on the Quarter, too bad the reverse doesn't quite match. Not doubting you in the slightest, but is 1979 one of those years that you don't see many UCAM coins? I was under the impression that anything after 1972 or so was almost always UCAM. Is that not correct?
Bugmann1974
I just looked at the NGC census and It shows the following 1 PF 4 PFCAM 615 PFUCAM So I guess you are right, I just happened to notice that the obverse on this one had about twice as much contrast as any of the other proofs that I have from that era. Bugmann1974
I stopped by the coin shop yesterday to buy some pieces for my 7070 album. 1819 Cent 1857 Flying eagle 1853 dime 1885 dime 1905 dime 1829 CBH It seems to be overdated over 1928? Is there an Overtons # for such a thing? 1814 over 13 CBH.... Seems like someone didn't like this coin. I like this CWT Edited February 1, 2009 by Bugmann1974
TomB
Your 1885 dime is truly lovely. I wonder if someone thought the 1814 CBH was a bogo-Bustie at some point?

lehigh96
I don't usually purchase toned Franklins, but got this 1958 NGC MS65 for $29 including BP. Not bad for a coin with this kind of color.
