Just got this the other day. NGC 66. I love it.

There is not much in color that makes me hesitate to look at but WOW

Nice coin ... ( Besides my trade 1883 Trade Dollar that is :) )

Thanks for the kind words.

I've been collecting the early commemoratives now for about 6 mos. and I've accumulated about 50 of them so far with the majority of the coins being graded at MS65 or better. This has been a fun set to collect and I hope to finish it.... years down the road!

After asking for more pics...I purchased this modern commemorative (ungraded) off of Ebay for $11.50. I though it would have a good chance at getting a PF70...and it did!!

Only 1745 have been graded by NGC and 278 made the 70 grade.

Sorry about the pic...still working on my photo skills.

No One wanted to give me what I wanted for my Sacagawea Proof set so it is getting traded in to DLRC towards this coin.

Funny thing is that I was looking at another coin that got sold out from underneath me - it was not as good as this one either ...

This one has better details luster and less marks on it, better feathering and I secured it BEFORE it happened again.

Feels nice to be finally adding to this set again ... After getting all this GOLD frenzy out of my system :)

Here's a couple more that showed up. I upgraded to a MS66 on the BTW. The upgrade was so cheap I had to do it. The San Diego is also due to the same deal. Both graded by PCGS.

Love the buffalo's

thanks bsshog40! I recently counted up my commems and I'm getting real close on completing the type set for early commemoratives. I need 10 more! Of course they're the expensive ones and with some of them being so high priced I might have to go with an AU or less when my original goal is MS65 or better. It's time to start saving up again. I'm thinking about a nice Antietam for Christmas to me! :) It's all a matter of will power at this point. lol
