Thanks everyone... I picked it up on Saturday. I like the mint luster in the devices. There's a slight amuont of rub on the lower hair curl and on the cheek for the obverse and a slight rub on the lower wreath. I'd peg it arounf 55-ish. But I'm not certain what to make of the dark spot on the obverse near "States". I didn't find it all that distracting and it loks really nice in my Dansco album...Leo

Oh wow are those some gorgeous coins! I wouldn't mind having all of those past the Ikes. The Alabama, wow, the Morgans, wow, the IH cent and the SL dime, wow again. I hope to post a couple of new ones later this week and I'm actually excited about them as one coin is a first for me, my first WLH!

Along with my new copy stand - I got this today for the start of my 1950 Proof set - Its kind of cool with a WAVE of tone flowing up from the bottom of the reverse - It hazes blue in the right light

Mr Feld has been holding out on us other half dime collectors. :o

Of course, many of those are out of my price range. :sorry:

That's a beautiful group and I am amazed by the 1840-O drapery and the 1863. :cloud9:

Thanks. It's my first 40-O and I like it for the assigned grade(AU58)

48 is graded AU55(I think it's undergraded) and 70 is graded as MS64 although I think it's 63.

Now that I finally got 40-O, I need 2 other key dates........46& 53-O NA.......but I hope they won't show up until I save up some money :/

Absolutely stunning Half Dimes.

You're formulating one of the Premiere Half Dime collections

in existance. Congratulations !

My modest example of a 1837- Lg Date - in NGC 62

although beautifully toned - is the sole certified example

I have of this very interesting series.
