jackson64
I was holding the coin on the proof pics and my hands are a bit shaky in the morning ( 4th cup of coffee) thanks for the tips on the lighting. I'm not sure of the pixels on my cam. I bought it because it was cheap (on ebay for about $70) easy to use (uses 3 1/2" floppy discs) and has 10x zoom. bsshog40
Those are two nice looking walkers there Jackson. The 2nd one's a little blurry but can still see it's nice!
jman425
Posted this on a different thread. Looks cleaned but the details are sharp and intact. Edited November 9, 2007 by jman425
bsshog40
It looks to be a nice CBH, but you are right, it also looks to be harshly cleaned.

Think it's worth send it to them ? I don't think anything can actually be done to repair a cleaned coin. It may be worth sending to ANACS, as they will grade cleaned coins. Someone else may have a different opinion on this, so don't jump at my words.

You can get a small cheap camera tripod and it could make a huge difference....as will the additional lighting.... (thumbs u
TomB
NCS can't/won't do anything about the cleaned CBH, but they will at least encapsulate the coin if that is what you desire.

Revenant
I picked this up this morning. I'm looking forward to seeing it face to face soon. The images provided by the seller were very big, about 2300x35000 pixels and make the coin look 15 inches wide.
ibyandsellsmith
From the pics I'd say that's a pretty good MS- 63.

Revenant
From the pics I'd say that's a pretty good MS- 63. My grading is pretty worthless after MS 62/63 so I can't offer much of an opinion there. I just saw it and decided that I liked it and bid on it. The seller had set the starting bid so high that I was the only bidder but I was okay with the price tag.

(thumbs u Jman, fun CBH. (thumbs u Shane, good looking grouping of coins ... but what are you doing with a Christmas wreath at this time of year? Shouldn't you be looking for a Turkey instead? William, that's an attractive Morgan. (thumbs u
kryptonitecomics
Sy, I have had plenty of coins that were Turkeys over the years....but I would rather stick with colorful Christmas trees.....better ROI (thumbs u

hoard
Upgrade for the type set via purchase from 123cents. Thanks for the coin. A lot of glare shooting through the slab, sorry for the image quality but the coin is excellent. The coin is also my grandfathers birthyear which is partly the reason for the purchase. Elbesaar
I've added a couple of Barber Dimes to my collection and also the return of an old friend, a 1908-P Half that I mistakenly sold last year and was more than pleased to take back. RGT
I like your picks better RGT. Please tell me they better represent the coin in hand. Yes, the coin looks very much like my pics in hand. The color is even better though because you really can't see all of it in the shaded areas of my pic, especially on the reverse. I wasn't sure what to expect from the sellers pics but I was pretty sure it would look better in hand.
