rexcat
Elbesaar, great looking coin! Looks to be well struck and I love the light toning over those lustrous fields.
Elbesaar
Elbesaar, Here are your images... Beautiful coin!!! BTW, just for interests sake, are you a fan of German rivers? Thanks for posting the images. Yes, Elbe is the name of my Black Doberman Pincher - female ; and Saar is the name of my Red Doberman RizenPincher - male. The naming of my dogs after German Rivers started many years ago when I was an infant...I just continued the tradition. With regard to the scarcity of the 1898-O's are concerned, I hope the results from a Presidential Review at NGC become fruitful; I have an NGC 30, EX: Reiver ; which very well be the only authenticated Micro O of that date. The 98-O is a special date - for sure - and I also have one in pcgs 58 and another one in pcgs 20 - which is destined for the raw book.
jtryka
Wow what great coins! I picked this one up at a local show today, pretty cheap for an 1895 silver dollar! The toning looks a lot nicer than my poor photos show.
Bruceswar
Jeff nice one. Mexico City Mint is always cool.

BOILER78
Thanks Chad. Here is a better image of the Trade dollar pattern (also a FUN show newp)
IGWT
Exquisite. BTW, I noticed a photo of a certain shield earring on the front page of the PCGS website.
Zoins
Wow, I like that 1836 Phrygian, it's just stunning in the TrueView. If I'm remembering the correct image, I think I like the earlier non-TrueView image of the 1873 trade dollar pattern better. I think the TrueView shows more of the toning but doesn't have the eye-popping luster the other pic had. Of course, I can be mistaken about which pic I'm remembering! MikeInFL
Now that Lee broke the ice, here's another matron head, one of my FUN NEWPS:
Elbesaar
Boiler, Your patterns are just amazing. I have always assumed that you're a collector - true ? The NGC web site provides an allocated area where you can set up a specialized collection that isn't structured. This would be a perfect venue to display your collection; for all I know, you've already done this: if so, how about a Link to this incredible set of US Patterns
MeadP-migration
I always look forward to reading this post. I have seen so many wonderful coins. I really like Lee's 1818 Large Cent. Is there a way to remove the lacquer without doing damage to the coin?

MunkyMan95
You found the 1,586,892nd variety! Congrats! Seriously, I doubt that there's a Minnesota quarter out there without an extra tree.
MikeKing
that's a nice Pilgrim, Winston. Is that an old 'rattler' holder?
hoard
very nice, i just love copper.
WinstonWare
It is a rattler and the holder is tiny. In truth, I only own a handful of coins so this is the first rattler I've seen.
SkyMan
Some gorgeous coins here. Those of us that didn't make it to FUN are squirming.
TomB
The top pair of images are from Stack's/ANR and they are terrible and make the coin appear to be dipped out or washed out, which is very far from reality. The images following that top pair are some quick shots I just took that show the coin much more accurately, though not completely accurately. In my opinion, this is an example of an auction company providing very poor client service in that the coin achieved much lower bid volume and final price than would have been attained had the images been accurate.
