I went there to get my PMM coin apraised for free as they advertise and they said they don't appraise error coins such as mine. Does anyone know if this is true or are they blowing smoke??

Technically, I'm not sure HRCG appraises coins at all. They do, however, make formal written offers on coins. A written offer is much different from an "appraisal".

I have taken a few coins to them for opinions. They did offer a buy price, but not really an appraisal
