My question is that I never have sent a coin in to be graded before. I have always

purchased coins from NGC already graded. I have these 2 coins that are absolutely flawless. I need to get them graded and encapsulated. I hear NGC is

supposed to be the last word when it come down to grading. I have heard that

PCGS also claims that they are equal when it comes down to grading coins.

Can you please advise me on how to go about getting my coins graded, and whom

I really should go with to submit my coins for grading?

I appreciate your imput

You are very lucky you asked that here and not across the street. smirk.gif

PCGS and NGC are the two most widely accepted grading services. I feel that NGC grades MORE ACCURATELY and PCGS grades MORE HARSHLY.

why do you say PCGS grades there coins harshly? The reason I ask is because

I am knew to coin collecting and that is why I asked this question. And if someone

offered a PCGS coin for sale to me, are you saying that the grade on the box is

incorrect, or that I should question it and pass it up?

I appreciate your imput.
